Dengerous situations with IT – safety and new technologies.

In the today’s world there are many dangerous, a lot of them are related with modern technologies and especially with the Internet. How can we be prepared for this problems? Can we be safe in the global web?

There are many things that we could do for our safety in IT world. Firstly, we can located our computer in a proper place in our hoses or firms. In corporations we must care about server security, and that means - serves must be situated in appropriatelly locked, dry space and the access to it must be on a high level of security. Server security have to be on the main place in our list to do in our firm. However in our homes we don’t need to have got a powerful server, so we have to secure just our computer. Secondly, we must pay proper attention to our Internet provider, is it a good and certificated company? The third thing to do is veryfied antivirus shield in our computer, we must be aware that Internet gives us us a lot of possibilities, but also a large number of dangers. Using the Web we have a relation with the whole world, we can exchange our thoughts and knowledge, but unfortunately there is as well a location for extremist actions and greedy. The Internet should be a space of freedom where people can exchange their thoughts and increase their wisdom.

It is an extraordinary invention, because in one place we have all knowledge of humanity, unfortunately we have got all stupidity to. A large noumber of the Internet sites are created only for entertainment, so we have hours of records about cats plays or such a thing like a 8 hour film of a sound of a hair dryer (a lot of children sleep only when they hear that sort of thing). On YouTube we have a great old films or we can find sites with MIT speaches, but also thousands of websites with teenagers video blogs, which are a form of nowadays diary for teenagers. We have to remember – every single thing that we post in the Web stays in the Web, therefore when we are a teenage girl with problems with teachers and with skin don’t put it in the Web , because you could find this film after 20, 30 years and you will just want to deleted it, however if you are a teenager who has an important information to share or you are a part of some charity organisation say what you need to say loudly, that every single person who need to hear it had a opportunity to hear your speach.

Now we must secure our IT devices from dangerous (viruses, hackers), nevertheless first of all we need to prevent ourselves from flood of useless news and carefully decide what we need to read and see in the Web.
