The answer to this question is pretty easy and is related to the fact that they remind people of the past. Nowadays everything changes and improves so quickly (which certainly is a positive tendency) that plenty people, above all older, are overwhelmed with this tendency and find it hard to be in touch with recent trends. (Here) The situation is also interesting in terms of young people, who begin their lives in the world with substantially more efficient goods and solutions that might make their life substantially simpler. Nonetheless, sometimes they are unable to appreciate them, which is one of the reason why previously mentioned cars may serve ourselves.
Comparing the cars at present with different vintage cars we can get to a conclusion that in fact our life, for diverse reasons, is significantly less complicated and more comfortable than to the generation of our parents. On the other side, this doesn’t indicate that older people buy this kind cars to prove that younger people has significantly better start. The reason is similar to those connected with renaissance of
vinyl recordings. For some people then the most meaningful factor is not connected with the functionality, but rather with the “soul”. Although it is hard to describe it precisely, we also might understand it. It comes with time, as we begin to appreciate something that has for example sentimental value no matter whether it is trendy, functional etc.
